Founding partner of Barrera Abogados, with over 20 years of experience in the customs field. During his time practicing law, he has worked in international trade law firms, advising and representing the interests of major national and international companies, primarily on customs and foreign trade matters. He has also served as Director of Legal Affairs and Operations in Permanent Free Trade Zones.
 
He has participated in the structuring, declaration, and operation of important free trade zones in the country; customs clearance for the port sector; customs warehouses ; international logistics distribution centers; customs and tax planning for local and foreign companies; public bidding; and customs litigation.
 
He is a lawyer who graduated from the Nueva Granada Military University and has a specialization in Customs Law from the Externado University of Colombia.
